We all remember what happened to Karl Watson at Tampa this year…. But the untold story is still unfolding. Fuel is covering the story, and we should all wish Karl well, yet again.
“About an hour after the CAT scan, the doctors came in the room and said, ‘We found something else,’” Watson remembers. “I was like, ‘Is it a crack in my skull?’ and they’re like, ‘No, it’s a tumor.’ Then everything got all serious.”

Being a skateboarder in today’s world is no easy task. Skateboarders now have to combine their pleasure with a keen sense of business savvy to get themselves to the next plateau. Zach Lyons is no stranger to this combination at all. Since the release of Organika’s Concrete Jungle, Zach has been on a constant barrage of high rise business meetings, corporate think tanks, and more money then you can shake a stick at. Long gone are the days of being the “skateboarder’s skateboarder”, Zach has ushered in the era of the “businessman’s skateboarder”, and skateboarding will forever thank him for it.
